Peanut chutney is yummy and delicious chutney. It is a perfect recipe served with idli or dosa or any south Indian breakfast recipes. Peanut Recipe is made regularly at home for breakfast. We have so many methods to make the peanut chutney. But i have shared the one which i make at home.
Ingredients :
- 3/4 cup peanuts
- 1 and a half tsp oil
- 3/4 tbsp. urad dal
- 1 to 2 garlic cloves
- 1 to 2 green chilies or red chilis
- salt as Your Taste needed
- 1/2 Cumin Seeds Or Jeera
- Tamarind as You want to use (optional)
- 2 curry leaves
Steps to make peanut chutney:
- Roast the dry peanuts until they turn golden. Do not over roast the peanuts unless you like the over-roasted flavor. Now Put the roasted peanuts in the plate to cool.
- Now take a pan and add a tsp of oil and fry curry leaves, urad dal, garlic and red chili and urad dal. When the dal turns golden and leaves turn crispy, add some cumin and put this into a plate along with peanuts.
- Mix the ingredients into a blender.
- If you want to use the tamarind in your peanuts chutney, you can soak it in little water. Then Extract the juice and use it to the peanut chutney.
- Serve this chutney in breakfast with idli, dosa.
